IRAAIO Wānanga and Workshops 2026

Healing Wānanga Mar - 14, 15 - 2026

This weekend’s Healing Wānanga is a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with the deeper rhythm of the body and wairua.

Together we use our mirimiri, shared kōrero and hauora awareness to support healing and reflection.

A rite of passage is not something that must be forced, but something that can be recognised when we allow ourselves time to listen within.

Through this wā the tinana begins to soften, the breath settles and clarity neutrality returns. The intention of the wānanga is simple: to create a supportive space where healing, learning and connection can unfold together.

RSVP NOW.

How much does the Wānaga cost?

This is often the first question people ask.

Our answer is simple: Kei a koe.

The value of this wānanga is placed in your hands.

Rather than setting a fixed price, we invite you to contribute in a way that reflects what this experience means to you and what you are able to give at this time.

For some, it may be he iti pounamu.
For others, it may be te hinu o te aroha.

Both are received with gratitude.

What matters most is that you arrive with an open heart, ready to learn, share, and grow together in the spirit of wānanga.

Koha is happily received on the day. Give what feels right for you. If you want out bank details, that's awesome too. 😉

Our Wānanga and One-on-One Training are about kōrero, ngā hua o te mirimiri, te ire rehua, about you. Reclaim your self, your story, your whakapapa. Honour the mātauranga (knowledge) passed down from our tīpuna, and ground yourself in tikanga and kawa upheld by mana for both kaimahi (practitioner) and whaiora (client).

We see you. We know that healing is not linear. Life sometimes brings waves that call in their own time. Whatever the reason, we’re here to support you in your next step.

IRAĀIO wānanga and workshops offer a Mauri layered journey — like tracing the current of our wai back to its source. These wānanga move beyond the physical touch of mirimiri and the mapping of pressure points, inviting both kaimahi (practitioners) and whaiora (recipients) to rediscover themselves through the flow of wānanga. Grounded in tikanga and kawa, each gathering becomes a Waka of Mauri, where life rises from the stillness of Te Pō and guides us into Te Ao Marama.

IRAAIO

Within a sacred space of learning and remembrance, we return to the power of karakia — to call upon our whakapapa, to honour the presence of the atua, and to acknowledge IO as the source from which all flows. Our wānanga are a pathway of reconnection, where each participant is supported to reclaim and live their own divine essence.

Through te mahi — the sacred work — we move with intention, activating our whatumanawa, pūmanawa, and manawa. This is not about striving, but about remembering. About standing in our birthright of connection — to wairua, to whenua, to ngā rangi tūhāhā — and carrying that awareness into the way we live.

At IRAAIO, each wānanga is a return. A return to mauri. A return to whakapapa. A return to being. To be! Through karakia, pure, tohi, and the sacred rituals of our tīpuna, we embody the wisdom passed down through generations. This is not something we learn — it is something we remember
